It's ironic that Dark Souls III feels more polished with its action since Bloodborne would have benefited more from that polish while DaS3 could have gone for more in-depth RPG mechanics than it did.
That and, with the way the games play, the whole 60FPS vs 30(24)FPS would have been better off other way around with the games, though higher for both is obviously ideal.

All they had to do was let Dark Souls 3 fester among the masses and continue to grow more popular in western media, as it has, and it would become quickly known here as Normie Souls and bloodborne would eventually be regarded as the new Demon's Souls. A game that is a true must play but is tougher to obtain because it's only on one platform and thus even more covated.

It isn't long, but it's tedious as shit: the sightlines are very irregular thanks to rocks having to be shaped as tormented souls or something, this is made worse by frenzy which continues to build up after breaking los so you have no idea if you're actually hidden or not, and the worst part is that killing those beasts make the retarded worms spawn which are a chore to hit with most weapons.

I find the game fantastic, I put it on par with Dark Souls 1, but just like that it has its flaws and a lot of the time you can't discuss these things because you are just accused of not having the game and being jealous or something like that. What I don't get is you can easily discuss the flaws DeS with no problem and that's exclusive, but it's different for BB.

I played Bloodborne's gameplay on the first Dark Souls. Sure the game pace was slower, but you could play the game by only rolling and it was gratifying.
When BB was released, it only made this -once alternative- way of playing the game mandatory, while making it easier to pull off and by adding retarded HP pools to the bosses to make the game "harder".
Nothing could oneshoot you at SL1 if you used your shield when needed. In BB, bosses can instakill you even with a level 70+ character.
Also personnaly, I found BB's soundtrack utterly cliché and couldn't stand the cheap horror movie soundtrack with shitloads of strings because Sony had money. I prefer DS3's soundtrack, but that's more of an opinion here.

Everyone knows why the game is good, so I'm gonna point straight to the flaws that just didn't do it for me. Keep in mind I haven't played any other souls game
>I never achieved the sunset ending as I only did one playthrough and wanted to do the two additional boss fights. I feel like the sunset ending is the true ending but they have it all backwards, I would prefer to still be able to kill gherman and then escape the dream
>After completing it I had zero ambition to play anything in the NG+, both in game play and lore-wire it just seemed unappealing. I trounced the first 3 bosses (With my new found knowledge + level 120) then stopped playing
>The summoning features were too easy without real consequence, after trying about 5 times on some bosses I just went for the easy option as It was right there.
>Parries felt great, but were too inconsistent, you had to die to a boss (or giant shark in dlc) a good 5+ times to trial+error understand the key points of when to parry, which I think is counter-intuitive as I feel like the parry point should be more obvious. In particular the orphan of kos was a bastard to get right, and lady maria was too easy to parry cheese from start to finish.
>Bosses were easily cheesed, The game rewards cheesing and actively punishes the normal roll/hit tactics. An example of this is the ludvigs R2 charge which was used the whole time since I first aquired it.
