I like the water/ food system cause it actually give me reason to build settlements (farm water/ food) Also getting radiation from food has kept me from having +100 radaways stashed
there was a pretty dank skyrim mod where you needed to wear heavy layers of fur to hike through the mountains or you would die from frostbite, also you had to set up fires and camps to sleep plus the added perk of your game unexpectedly crashing all the time
I don't play Fallout for micromanaging bullshit. I play it for the world/story, which are both beyond help in 3 and 4.

I should have phrased my original post differently. They knew I was there so I lost my chance at a sneak bonus but I ran behind them. Still, doesn't change the fact a raider took 2 shotgun shells to the back and survived.
