Post games released in the last 5 years that we'll still be talking about in twenty years, kind of like Super Mario 64 now.
people dont even talk about that a year after
I'd hate to say it, butUndertale

it's a good point, i couldn't think of anything but i know for certain dustforce's gameplay will hold up years from now.
i can't think of modern games that i KNOW for sure will be relevant like super mario 64 is. maybe bioshock infinite even if it's a shit game.
I got this game for $2.50 a year and a half ago and I still play it regularly.
I fucking love this game.

Bloodborne? I mean, shitposts aside it's a fantastic game, and STILL the best reason to own a nogaems4.

dark souls

>pic unrelated
>know for the biggest hype train in the history of the planet
>>340245056
i disagree, i knew way more people hyped for skyrim because dragons
>>340244556
yeah that's a good one, and with shitty sequels it basically guarantees that game will never be overshadowed by a 'better' version of it.
>>340245237
Then throw skyrim in the list you goose
>>340244257
absolutely not, i understand it's a great game but there are a few things that hold it back from longevity
>time-sensitive humor
>mediocre gameplay
>PC only
Kung Pow
Risk of Rain, though. Ive never seen such an organised and cordial collective of boners for a host!
Outside of maybe a Kung Pow stream.
The Binding of Isaac.

i'm interested to hear your thoughts as to why.
Overwatch

I like how big of a casual filter the movement itself is and how the skill ceiling is pretty much infinite. It's a shame how underrated the game is.

that's what i'm saying, the game has so much to explore, it's definitely the deepest 2d platformer i've ever played
