There's some pretty good 'monster Hunter 'ripoffs'' if those are appealing to you, like Soul Sacrifice Delta, Freedom Wars, and Toukiden. That was also in order of best to worse, imo.

Lots of moe RPGs and dungeon crawlers. Demon Gaze is a good starting place for dungeon crawlers. There's also the Atelier games, stuff like Soul Sacrifice, Dragon's Crown, Gravity Rush, etc... There's a lot of good games for it and ports of stuff found on other platforms. I hope you got the original one and not the shitty one without an OLED screen.

Best story and narrative out of all games released in 2014. Vastly underrated by gaming journalists who most likely never even played past the demo. The lore is done so well that you will spend hours just reading through them.

As someone who owns and enjoys both the vita and 3ds I'll say the vita has fewer exclusives by a significan margin, but portable multiplats is something I can really appreciate. If you can't then you might not have as much love for the vita.
Here's a trimmed down version of the games list, see if anything appeals to you. Sales come pretty often and a lot of older physical games have become dirt cheap as stores try to dump stock unlike 3ds games where it seems like low supply ensures a high price for an extended period.
The most hidden of hidden gems of 2015 was a vita game.
