Yooka-Laylee is being released on the PC, Wii U, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. However, Playtonic revealed that they won’t be porting the game over to every single platform on their own. Playtonic explained that they are internally handling the Wii U and PC versions of the game. Team17 is working on the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions.
Writer Andy Robinson explained the reasoning behind this. They feel that they
>“naturally have so many backers who opted for Wii U”.
The size of the team, meanwhile, makes it difficult for them to port the game to every console. Robinson said that the decision for Playtonic to work on the Wii U and PC versions is because

I van't believe people actually think the Wii U version is going to be that muvh worse than any of the other releases. The game itself isn'y going to be very demanding in terms of hardware and Playtonic are eapecually inveated in it as that's where a majority of the backers are. PC is likely to experience a few issurs at laynvh and won't be as well optimized due to the variabpe that is hardware on the platform.

Yes, only one though.
It comes with the expanded content on disc and actually enhances the gameplay with the game pad in a way I haven't seen done in any other multiplat game.
The Xbox 360 version of the directors cut doesn't install to the hard drive and as a result the console hums like crazy. Also you don't get the added game pad features.
The PS3 version can install (all PS3 games have to) but has frame rate issues (again, like most PS3 multiplats) and you don't get the game pad features.
The PC version doesn't even offer the Directors cut as a purchase. You have to download the DC content separately. And of course you still don't get the game pad features.
