M8, I went 1 month oversea last year working minimum wage all the while paying rent, bills and other shit.
Next year I'm going in Spain a whole year, hopefully to work (My Spanish ain't that good yet but I'm confident I can get it good enough by next Summer).
It's not that hard, just gotta be really stingy and you can save money.
When I went abroad next year I lived with someone, I paid her 200 euros and I got to have a home for my whole stay.
Back in 2011 I went in Ireland and I stayed there 2 months working on a farm, I only had to pay my plane ticket.
