If it's meant to be a fair fight, he wouldn't have invincibily before the fight begins.
Besides, the scarfed Ditto has a also a faster reaction time, and could stop time and kill him with his own notebook before Maxweel has time to us his own notebook.
Face it, there no single vidya character that can beat a scarfed imposter Ditto in a fair 1v1 fight, he can copy any character's powers to full extent and still be 50% faster than them.Except for stallfags.

Doesn't have to. Transform is one move, then it is replaced, so he can use one other move. Changing adjectives is one menu in Maxwell's notepad, while adding objects is another. Even if we took adding and removing adjectives as two separate actions, then he could just add dead. Maxwell would be dead, but his corpse would be invincible.
