If it's going clockwise, run and perform a ducking jump to the other side. Easy peasy. Not even the hardest obstacle.
Counter-clockwise? Just follow the fucking thing.

Mario just has to charge up for some jumps. Luigi doesn't need to, but is slippery and can fall off ledges easier.
