Here's the problem as I see it.
E3 is one big hype commercial joke. Every fucking developer knows this so they push out the most polished turd they can. Carefully manipulated so that it plays the best it can play and look the best it can look at the same time. They know full well that they can't possibly release a game that is consistently playable if they were to keep it up. No way they would be able to finish it on time either.
That's why the finished products are so fucking lackluster.
There's also the problem with multi-platofrming in general. As a consumer it makes sense because you want to be able to play the games, as they show up, on the platform of your choice and not be locked out. However, it presents a problem, since games are developed for consoles first, that there is attention to the single platform. The singular platform is thus not squeezed enough for all it can muster and its particular strengths and weaknesses are not taken into account.
You're left with making the most generalized thing you can (in terms of resource utilization) so that the game can easily be ported from one console to the next and the PC port will be an afterthought.
Helicopters are nowhere to be found in Siege.
