its not fun because its not dynamic. its basically a movie game like uncharted during missions. and theres not much stuff to do in free roam
mp also sucks because missions are so rigid. they always play out the same way. you move to a spot, enemies spawn, you kill them. and then at certain points you get the police on your ass no matter what with no way of avoiding them because its all scripted and has to happen that way. at every step rockstar is dictating how you should paly and what should be happening

seriously, the yield on both of the things you just mentioned is laughable
VIP mode is made useless by the fact that you become a walking target regardless of whether or not you actually do the jobs along with the fact that so many other jobs (adversary mode, deathmatches, classic missions) will net you more in the amount of time needed to complete a VIP missions
yachts are sorta' nice with their new interiors and protection system and all that, but they're poorly matched with the VIP system; they get boring too quickly to justify the price

I found GTA 4 AND 5 to be very unremarkable. GTA 5 at least ahd nice characters but the ending was garbage and the online is atrocious.
