I did this twice. First in December last year in LA and then again this year in Miami before I moved on to Vegas for a month and San Diego for a month after that. It is in my opinion the ideal starting point for anyone who doesn't know how to approach to girls or what to do to move an interaction towards sex in any way or form.
The program teaches you everything you need to know A to Z if, IF you are willing to actually go out, do the work and implement what you're being taught. I've been diagnosed with "major depression" by a school psychologist at the age of 14, but I don't know if it was simply because I couldn't pick the colors that would correspond to situations and went with grey. Never received treatment or support of taken any meds, and it kept getting worse and worse and here I am now, with no social interaction whatsoever apart from my workplace circle and the only best friend and a person who understands me is a long-time internet buddy. It's good to build up some relationship early on, make her talk and make her give you a reason why you enjoy her company and talking to her. Make her invest in the interaction by having her tell you stories about her self. Use those stories as justifications why you're interested in her.
Get her comfortable with being physically close to you while talking to her. Start with little, innocent touches, build it up from there. Once she's invested enough and she's close to the point where you can easily kiss her, give her a kiss. It will let her know that you're not here to become her new gay best friend. Make it short and sweet. It will show her you're not needy. Make it short enough to have her want more.
Never fake interest. Focus on the teeny tiniest bits of information that you actually do find interesting and exaggerate the fuck out of them. If you're being disingenuous most people will be able to tell and be put off by that.

I am a psychotherapist and while there are therapists out there that don't actually care about their patients, do believe me that from my experience at least 50% do care, myself included.
Find someone who cares and you can connect with. Give the therapist a chance, but if he or she cannot give you any meaningful help with the first 5 sessions or so go find someone else.
Also there's more out there in terms of therapy than just talking.
