How many games have you guys won out of your matches played? I have gone 1/19 this morning and now have 120 matches total with only 80 wins. Every loss we are just steam rolled too like we dont even have a chance.
Its very frustrating and discouraging. Maybe it's all me and i really am singlehandedly bringing down the entire team but I really dont think thats it. Im getting multiple gold medals every single round and I feel like im personally doing pretty well but every match today we have just been completely demolished.
Is that matchmaking just completely screwed up? 9/10 matches my team will do the most retarded things like 3 widowmakers when attacking and everyone refuses to switch, or multiple genjis and reapers that are just dying constantly.
I really love this game but today has just really killed it for me. It has been so irritating to feel this helpless.

How does it even quantify skill of player? By stats and medal history? I hope its not level because that really seems like a meaningless metric. I've seen awesome players below 10 and the worst of players over 60.

There's an internal MMR that's based on...stuff. Blizzard is pretty cagey on how the actual matching works, so people don't game the system and so on. For me, it started evening out in the 30s or so, and I actually started getting some really good games.
Obviously they're not all good, and you'll still get stuck with THAT FUCKING HANZO who's twenty levels below the average of the game and absolutely INSISTS that it's his team letting him down.

Suddenly I'm very proud of my winrate, that's probably from all the Lucio though. I don't play him like an aura bot like you're supposed to though, running into the enemy team with speed boost and e while jumping and wallriding around like a madman is too much fun and surprisingly effective. It's the best feeling when I spend an entire minute just distracting them while I spam my spray and voice line and get away with 50 health after 4 of them failed to kill me.
This is also the closest thing I will ever have to a new Jet Set Radio, so I'm enjoying it before he gets nerfed..
