The expansion will be in ala mhigo. Doma was completely leveled by the garleans, the place doesnt exist anymore.
With that, SAM, BLU (because ilberd was a BLU when he fought raubahn) and some other shit that isnt a healer because no one wants another disaster like AST.
I'd say dancer but the models are so ugly they'd just end up looking gross.

too important in uldah? in the MSQ for patch 2.4 with the introduction of yugiri and her team of skin cancer patients, lolorito himself made mention that uldah is no place for refugees because on top of being filled to the brim with highlanders, the domans would hate the lifestyle of uldah as well.
Uldah wants the ala mhigans gone and they want out as well, just look at everything ilberd has done up to this point if you need evidence of people wanted ala mhiggers out of their land.

While you speak of impossibilities, you also forget the fact that doma is actually completely destroyed, for us to go back there we would need to first rebuild the place and then we can have an expansion over there, which isnt likely considering the domans have only just settled in mor dhona.
The only real reason why anyone would want to go to doma is if they want to get brutally raped by a pack of xaela and rogue ninjas, because thats all there is left over there

Ilberd was more Mystic Knight/Red Mage. The closest to BLU we've seen in Raubahn's animal roar during his duel with Ilberd, which would somewhat add up as Raubahn led the Blue Mages in XI.

I would rather they focus on balancing off the current jobs than adding something new. Really just BRD needs to function correctly, which admitedly the 3.3 song changes help fix, but WM and BL just don't function well together.
AST needs something more aswell, but perhaps that will be something that can change in an expansion because I dunno how anything it could bring to the table could mess with WHM+SCH combo.
I suppose if I had to name some new jobs it would definitely be something along the lines of SAM, DNC and another caster dps. SMN and BLM war needs a fresh face.

Thavnair is where the Blue Mage and Dancer glamour sets come from. I'd like to see a Thavnair expansion at some point with BLU, DNC and maybe Chemist.
A cool twist for Blue Mage would be a caster tank that earns stacks of Azure Lore or something when a mob is hitting them and then turns the monsters power back onto itself.
Chemist would be a neat healer that works somewhat similarly to the mudra system where you have skills that are different ingredients and combinations make different results. e.g.
Red Potion + Blue Potion = Heal
Red Potion + Green Potion = Esuna
Blue Potion + Green Potion = Haste
etc/
Dancer I guess then would be the DPS job, though a melee healer would be more unique.
What about a dancer support class that doesn't heal for shit but can shorten cooldowns?

Why is the goldsaucer such a disaster? Its boring as fuck and filled with pointless minigames. In PSO2 you can at least get money without grinding for fucking weeks. It really amazes me in general how much stuff in PSO2 is FAR better than some stuff in XIV, which is not online pay to play but also has a cash shop plus you have to buy the basegame as well.
