Nintendo is done for. The great games their development side make are being completely squandered by the stupid decisions the corporate side makes.
Stop making hardware. Nintendo knows how to squeeze every last drop out of a console's potential. They've been doing it with their subpar machines for years. Imagine what some of their IP could be on better machines like the XBone or PS4. It's over Nintendo. Make it happen.

Ninty's problem is having the worst market understanding of all video game entertainment producers, or at least on par with the lowest, but their IPs and recognition is so on point that they're held to more intense standards.. and for good reason. They're trying to sell a proprietary PoS known as a console. You don't just get a free pass for that because you sell handhelds and Mario. Not even having Pokemon under their belt sells the Wii U, probably because there are no games of that -- but this just spotlights their underperformance in customer satisfaction.

the sad thing is this really isn't that far off from what most people throw around when they post their "dream lineups" from nintendo.
All games should be completely playable with a normal controller (no motion, touchpad, secondary screen, or VR), even if certain controllers are "better" for certain kinds of games

One of the best things about modern gaming is the ability to meet and play with or against other players online, communicate with them via text or voice chat in game or in parties, etc.
Parental Controls exist for a reason. I can understand Nintendo not wanting parents to ever associate their brand with foul language or danger to their children, but they can barely prevent that even with the ridiculous way the suffocate communication.
