I see taunting as a way to have fun and be silly during a match. Most people think of it as a way of inducing anger in your opponents and to mock them. It's just a fuckin' button that lets you do a neat animation; who gives a shit. Be cute.
I don't use actual taunts unless they have some kind of function. I make up my own taunts in the way I move

I don't even bother with the game.
I taunt because it makes people go on tilt. It's a pretty good way to win.

I dont get people that taunt absolutely everytime, even when they're on their last stock with 120% percent and just got their first kill.

I don't really get why people get triggered over a game, but if it works to my advantage then I'll taunt an opponent when I get a read on them for a kill. If it's just a simple shield grab to kill throw or your opponent SD's or stuff like that then there's no glory in it.

I taunt in 2 player team smash in For Glory for many reasons
>use all taunts near the end of the match to see how many kills I've gotten so far
>partner and I just got a really nice kill together
>partner and I taunt in unison when we kill our targets in unison
>I'm being ignored by the other team for my partner when I have a very high percent and he just respawned

My main problem is I play too safe, never putting enough pressure, so when they taunt me I take more risks, risks that they haven't downloaded because my playstyle was too safe, which usually ends in them losing.
