??? I bought it and it's pretty obvious the amount of sales was deemed enough considering they are now porting Yomawari. While I enjoyed Firefly Diary and found it adorable I am very well aware it's a very niche game. So the amount of sales is enough.In my opinion it deserves sales more than games like Neptunia, but what can I do about it?

I dunno. I'm liking these ports of even games I wasn't super thrilled about. I bought htol#NiQ's port and I found it to be pretty fun. Imperfect and slow, but fun. Its nice having these sorts of games around on various platforms in case they turn out to be interesting to select groups of people.
