My most recent "true" playthrough? Fucking TELVANNI ALL THE WAY DESTROY THE MAGES GUILD AND TAKE OVER ALL THE OTHER HOUSES TELVANNI WILL RULE THE LAND.

Telvanni is the only one that actually has a mod that allows you to turn the best of the strongholds into a fully-fledged town that you design yourself (Building Up Uvirith's Legacy)
Not to mention the awesome quest/house mod that is Uvirith's Legacy, possibly the best house mod there is period.
Which combines seamlessly with Rise of House Telvanni, the only real late/end-game guild questline expansion that has effects on the whole game world (seriously, you can destroy the Mages guild, kill off the other Houses, etc.).
No other Great House has mods remotely like it.
