Reviewers don't really posit their own opinions unless it's a political opinion; they just try to predict what general dudebro consumer reaction will be and give a review in line with that

To be fair, I think that generally only applies to AAA games. After all, all these "dudebros" throw a collective shitfit when something they look forward to get a shit score.
What I'm saying is that there will most likely not be enough people looking at these reviews to throw a big enough shitfit for the reviewers to care about, resulting in more honest reviews.

i bought it because ofCr1tikal, but it's a shit game. Floaty animations, cringy writing and voice acting and the combat system so far is a complete bore. Not sure if i should refund it or press on in hopes it gets better.
