Because technically speaking, it "devalues" the Vita. Generally speaking, you buy a console because of its exclusives. I'd never put up with a 3DS or Wii U or so on if they didn't have exclusive games, for example. If I could play Mario on a PC with 1080p graphics instead of 240p, why would I even invest in a 3DS?
That being said, the Vita has practically no exclusives left. All it has are games that are now on other consoles (Gravity Rush, Senran Kagura SV, Neptunia, etc), or games that were already available on other consoles (Persona 4, Dragon's Crown, etc). It DOES have a few games like Soul Sacrifice, but I wouldn't buy a console just for maybe one or two exclusive games.

Everything OP's post is relevant information. He says he wants to discuss a game. He tells us that it's a port from a another platform which is relevant to anyone that didn't own the origenal platform and is interested in these sorts of games.
Based on the posting of everyone it seems like the average poster /v/ isn't so much about discussing video games but trying to make people sad and make himself angry.
If OP didn't mention the platform differences people would find other things to try to say that they think would make people feel bad. They might attack the anime art style, say the genre sucks, if nothing else they will just do what the thread has already done which is bring up some other topic entirly. Someone that actually liked this sort of game would be happy it's getting ported and thus giving the game more exposure. If you actually liked the genre you'd want the games to make money.
It's impossible to ever discuss any games or genres in this climate. The moment you say that you enjoy something, 10 people will swarm in saying "aha I have found out what he likes, now I can try to make him sad by debasing it". So in a way /v/ is unique among all game boards I've sen, where it's not about loving games but hating them.
