Giant Bombcast and Beastcast are the only good video game podcasts though. Everything else is either hipsters who don't actually like video games, annoying as fuck over the top personalities, or autists with no chemistry who you can barely hear due to them whispering so their parents won't hear as well as their shitty skype connection.

Bonfire Lit Comfycast, but it can devolve into just roasts from time to time. It's weird, sometimes it's just fun roasts, other times they spend too long talking about current news where it gets a bit boring.
Sleepycast isn't vidya but it's perfect, and actually edited down so there's no awkward pauses.

the only vidya related podcasts I keep up with are the two Easy Allies do.though I also recommend OSW Review at least, even if you don't like wrestling it can be entertaining listening to them discuss some of the insane shit that goes on in that world. Good example is Halloween Havoc 95.

I haven't listened to Partially Examined Life, but just looking at them I think the thing I like about Philosophize This more is that the episodes are kind of done Chronologically so you can start from the beginning in kind of a sensical way.
Only weakness is the first few episodes suffer from the guy kind of starting, they aren't bad but the Music is a little bit off putting but he gets rid of that.

Did you listen the last one? Aside from obligatory Overwatch talk, all they did was strawman people's opinions while doing "stupid gamer voices" and laugh at some obscure online petitions.
Last podcast was actually better without TB on it.
Bombcast, Gamers With Jobs, and The Game Informer Show are all grade A. I would include Podcast Beyond and Unlocked but they've introduced "gamur gurl" Alanah Pierce and I do not like her at all. Although not vidya I recommend Maddox's Biggest Problem in the Universe and what ever new one he makes.
