I am tempted to buy the starter edition but I hate shit connection.
How is the online in this game?
Is it peer to peer or server based?

It's debatable if it's worth it even with friends.
Personally I don't think it is. There's just too much bullshit happening, mostly due to the horrendous lag-compensation.

If you want to cheat and not get caught this is the perfect game for you. even free hacks are not detected by their "anticheat" unless you use ragehack settings for your aimbot

I think it's fine to play solo.
The matchmaking keeps you with your team so if you manage to get a decent coordinated squad together you can just carry on playing together. I've found the community to be pretty good at working together, I thought Fuze and Glaz would be picked more for selfish reasons but people seem to pick depending on map/team comp.
It's ok, but the lag compensation ruins it when your playing against people with shit connection. If you like tactical shooters then you will enjoy it.

You don´t really need the renown. I don´t even play that much and i have all operators including the new ones. You won´t have anything to spend your renown on otherwise. Buy the normal version.

k bud I've got like 22 hours and so far not a single hacker. I have yet to try ranked but I have not come across a single hacker. Just so you know sound is a big thing in the game so if your stomping around like an autist then they will find you. it's not that hard.
