Man I don't know about that. I can be on fire the whole game as Reinhardt while doing more damage and eliminations than the actual DPS guys while shielding and taking objectives. Reinhardt is just perfect for any situation and can go from kill mode to defense in a split second.

Reinhardt main here. There's only so much you can do. Even a well timed charge and hammer down to stun their 3-4 of their team means nothing if your supports and DPS aren't there to keep you alive and your team isn't capitalizing the window you give them.

This genji was having his way with me without even buying me dinner. Right before they got to the final choke point with like 5 minutes left I said "fuck team composition" and picked my main Pharah...I actually held them off A LOT better. Got 7 eliminations with only 1 death. They made it with like 30 seconds left.

People are incredibly hypercritical of snipers in overewatch, it's insane. This one time a mcree peaked a corner, so I scoped in on the corner down the hallway for a second to catch him the next time he did it, and some winston on my team who was passing by and who didn't see the peaking mcree was like "wtf are you sniping!?!?!". That really made my blood boil. There's already a preconception that snipers don't do shit, like there was in TF2, so naturally teammates are constantly on the lookout for some reason to criticize you.
People also don't seem to understand that, as sniper, you can't move in and do work when your team is dead. If my team wipes and I'm the only survivor, approaching the cart and trying to snipe is a suicide mission. Sniping is only effective when the rest of the team is there to defend and distract the enemy, while you snipe from a distance. When my team wipes and starts speccing me, I'm forced to retreat, and then people accuse me of not doing anything.
Blizz takes out the scoreboard because they're scared of cyber bullying or whatever the fuck, but no scoreboard is actually causing more toxicity than when there is a scoreboard, because even if I'm absolutely destroying the enemy team as widow, and have a 60% kill participation or something, my teammates won't know that until the end of the game when they see my card, so they'll just talk shit to me the entire game until the end.

In my experience I can still keep a really solid K/D with Lucio and still be credit to team. I found that if 4 or more people are within your aura, you passively heal just as much as Mercy fixating on one person, just spread out. That combined with his E pump it up and you have massive heals in case of an emergency. Plus he's cool with his optional speed boosts. It's always fun to get those(and useful if you need to push your team somewhere fast)

I have an extremely tough time against him, especially a skilled one. That's just me though I know in reality he's fine but being able to reset cooldowns off of kills is fucking ridiculous. He's a massive snowball like I've never seen before in my life.
Reinhardt isn't fucking OP. His charge is amazing that's it. his rocket hammer in reality isn't the best it's just that you can disrupt the shit out of any team when you swing in the middle of a crowd. They all just freak out and make things worse. His ult is really cool but kinda hard to utilize effectively.

Always throw a barrier on a teammate you know is going to peak around a corner and get lit up.
Putting a barrier on Reinhardt with his shield up still gives you charge, really easy to get charged up that way.
Enemy Torbs or Symmetras give you a ton of charge for free with their turrets, just flip it on, take a few hits, and you're good to go.

On the shaolin temple control point map I ended up shielding the ONLY path to the enemy's spawn while my team lobbed bombs through it until 100%.
