Say what you want, but POP 2008 was polished as fuck. The gameplay fleet smooth and intuitive, simple to use but satisfying to play. It dumped the old whiny prince, and didn't make you restart a mile back after every fall. You could just get comfy and run through a weird and colorful world.

I'd say the Part IV "true ending" DLC is definitely worth a play rather then a watch. The first two episodes of it are whatever, but the last two are 12/10's and have 4 of my favorite moments in video games period.
The 2 lost episodes/street fighter crossover stuff are more iffy. They are at least worth a youtube watch, but if you really enjoyed the base game and the part 4 DLC, go ahead and play them as well.
The 11.5/15.5 dlc just watch on youtube, those are purely QTE's anyways.

I don't know the difficulty the guy was playing it at. It's not exactly a hard or mechanically challenging game, but I know on hard it can catch you off guard if you aren't focusing.

Bottom line is, even if you don't bother with 11.5/15,5 or the lost episodes, the Part 4 DLC is essentially a contiuation of the main game's story, picks up hanging plot points, and is just in general fucking amazing, so that at least is a must do unless you absolutely hated the vanilla game, in which case I would still advocate youtubing it.

The non DLC ending was fine. One of my favorite game endings actually.

I was in a fight, any fight I don't matter. Dinner was ready, so I set down the controller and didn't even pause it. There was no reason to, because I can NOT die in COMBAT. That is garbage. I got in a fight, walked away for 15 minutes to eat a porkchop, and came back no worse off. No risk makes for uninvolved fighting.
The pacing of the story was all over the place as you can do it in any order too. She hated me I love her, then I love her she hates me. We both hate each other. Then in the end I love her so much I disregard everything she believes in just to be with her for 10 more minutes. Only for in the end to really have her leave me to die on the edge of a cliff.
Under rated game? Maybe?
