Still only partially through this. Got it a couple weeks ago and been busy with work. The Mistral chapter was hot garbage but the introductory chapter was so great I wasn't completely discouraged, and it's gotten back to being generallysolid.
I remember the complaints from a few years ago about the campaign being something like 15 hours with cutscenes, but like... Is that even bad? MGS1 and 2 were around 10 and even more bloated with cinematics. Then there's VR missions which are bite-sized to the point there's great replay value there.

The gameplay is faster and enemies won't slow down one second before hitting you to give you a parry window
