All of those are terrible things except for the rich living in luxury, and the woman bit was comedy. I don't give a fuck about some "hidden socialist agenda" but when short sighted corporations produce pollution, people are forced to live in squalor, and the space program gets shut down then I have some serious issues. We can't always love on this planet unless we come up with some serious technological advances. Our current best bet is to head towards the stars once technology improves and we find a habitable planet. I know you're trying to make this a discussion on FF7 but you're also talking about political issues that relate to our modern world so there's my input. Anyone that thinks "I can do what I want because the consequences won't affect me" or "this won't have an impact for hundreds or even thousands of years so who cares?"
