I doubt they're legit but they look fine to me.
I think the formula for starter evolutions should be Cute->Awkward/normal->Cool, and the only one that doesn't follow this exactly is Gen I, which hampers it because Ivysaur and Wartortle arguable look as cool or cooler than their evolutions.
And that said these meet that formula very well, but the seal looks a little too different from its pre-evo for me to believe it. That and the seal is the only one with a gimmick, which all starters have had since Gen IV.
