Every time I replay Morrowind I can't help myself from getting the boots of blinding speed immediately and that chameleon amulet and using it to rob the vaults, ordinator barracks and ghost gate and using the gold to train my character. For myself atleast, Oblivion's world is the comfiest thing I've ever experienced.
The colors, lighting, score, the oasis-like feeling of reprieve when you find a small, comfy lake or cabin out in the wild where you are safe from creatures. What made that game so great was just the sheer amount of work put into it, there are so many unique, unnamed, unmarked places in the world that the devs poured so much work into despite knowing that only a small percentage of players would find them.
I loved Oblivion, coming from a home with divorcing parents and constant screaming, it was a reprieve of my own.

Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind are all three different kinds of comfy. There's always summer in Oblivionland and the music is really calming so the whole thing feels like a nice trek into a forest. Skyrim has a nice frontier feel to it that's really comfy sometimesalthough it's too bad the game around it is pretty boring. Morrowind's interiors are mega comfy with all the unique Dunmer decor and stuff. You even get different styles depending on where you go.
