I'm pretty sure nearly everyone will change to the UWP format. It can be used on steam as well.
So a dev makes a game using UWP and can easily put it on windows and xbox with minor adjustments for both systems. The question is will MS still charge money just for allowing games to be on the bone?
Rare could make a legit good game and i wouldnt support them after all the baiting they did over the last decade plus i will never forgive for nuts and bolts

They can't. The pc is an open platform. They try that shit users and corporations would all shift to another os. Just one example is all they need and they would be dragged to the courts. It's happened before and these days the Internet and news would drag MS through the mud at any given chance.
The xbox however, is their own hardware that they sell with a custom os. They can do what they want on it.
Why would MS allow steam to take a 30% cut of the profits and for them to have a competing marketplace on it? They are spending money to sell hardware and market it. And you think they would be ok with allowing steam putting their shit on for free?
You realize MS makes their profits from that cut they take one each game sold right?

Look up Project Helix. The entire point is to slowly morph Xbox in to a platform, not a console. With Xbox consoles acting as prebuilt PCs, similiar to Steam Machines. Heck, the anniversary update is bringing UWP to Xbone later this year.

It's rumored FH3 is introducing bikes into the series and Shitpost land has a huge bike culture along with their car culture so it makes sense to do Australia first (Also there's a lot of Mad Max style code names around it that were found)
Japan would be amazing, but now they are talking about Scorpio, I'd take a bigger realization of Japan on a more powerful system like being able to Togue on the mountains, then drive down onto the Wangan before starting a street race on the back streets of Yokohama in a Horizon 4.

Not sure how I feel if Australia is the new map, if it's actually a 1:1 recreation of the content that would be pretty damn cool ,though I don't feel MS is at that level yet.
