I'm right there with you. My favorite part of Tech TV were the personalities and their ability to be entertaining while they were informative.
I don't think we'll ever get another show like Screen Savers :(

No. Not really, and no one obviously cares enough for it to happen again. The industry has changed, anyway, and Youtube and Twitch would making a video game channel redundant.
It sucks, but that's the world we live in now.
You can still the fix. Just not on tv.
Leo Laporte does Twit (this week in tech) and Patrick Norton and a few others are on Rev3.
Also: fuck G4. That's what killed TechTV.

I'm not even sure what I want exactly. I miss so much about that channel. Cinematech is the most obvious one to me. I'd kill for a channel that edited together weird shit like this:

Yeah, but you must admit that for children g4 was like gold. Some kids didn't have internet access like that and others didn't understand it. Hell, I remember having a really old ass desktop that I couldn't do much with outside of playing Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

G4 was the shitty MTV of gaming that killed TechTV. A handful of shows were okay but it was largely stupid, Jesus fuck OP it was incredibly fucking stupid, and its personalities were unfunny hacks who had no business cancerizing nerd culture into the OMG XD Doritos Dew mess it is today. Cheaters was better than X-Play or Attack of the show for fuck's sake. That channel deserved to die, and it deserves to stay dead. That one British chick with the big tits that appeared during breaks was pretty hot though.
Anyone else go back and watch Bob & Steve every so often?

I personally contemplate re-watching old episodes of Xplay. Man did i find the immature humor on that show just hilarious. I know if i re-watched, it would just ruin the memory. If i were extremely rich I would pay both of them exuberant amounts of money to do new episodes.

I'm playing this nefty indie roguelite I found on steam called "Sunless Sea." One day I decided to check the internet before I made a decision in game because it would decide the entire play through and lo and behold there's a wikia for the game detailing every aspect on it so I don't have to wing it. It's like this for just about everything and it's damn-well common. A few years agoa decade reallyyou'd make an entire thread on some generic message board that you'd have to sign up for, hope someone who played both decisions and was on at that time of day replied to you.

Rev3 was kill and Adam decide to just take a break from the scene. But you are on to something. Adam did not handle the transition from the tv show to youtube at all especially with the changing times.
