Does it matter? I stopped wanting to be good. Also the better I am, the less I have to do, thus the game is shorter. Being really good at a game right of the bat really cuts down the time I take enjoying it.

How can somoen be "bad" at games? I consider myself pretty adaptive, at least I understand the basic concepts of a game pretty quickly, not enough to master it a la korean Starcraft players or DMC4 pros, but a decent level.

The only thing worse than bad players are players that constantly complain about everything to guise their low skill. I was watching a stream of that upcoming megaman clone, and while the game was shitty looking, it was at least fair, yet every time the player died he would make up some shitty excuse to absolve him of responsibility.

I personally tried for about a decade to get good at esports games like Quake 3 and Starcraft, but I failed. I guess I'm destined for pub servers
