It's always been readily apparent that Kojima really cares about the series and put a lot of effort into the littlest details. He basically was forced to make the last 2 major installments under less than ideal circumstances. MGS4 was by no means great and 5 is painfully unfinished but at least they had that touch of raw passion that he puts into everything. All that work and autism put into this world and series only to be kicked out. All we wanted was a complete MGS V - that's it. We would've let the series rest if we got closure.
But now they take a beloved game like MGS 3 and remake it into a fucking GAMBLING machine - that's almost like Konami going up to all MGS fans and saying "Oh, that great memory you have of that game we made over 10 years ago? We could remaster it for you to experience it once more but instead we're using it for a slot machine exclusive to Japan - get fucked".
Now we just need FFVII remake to be canceled and be turned into a pachinko game to finally close the deal.
