-The PvE campaign is barebones and short but enjoyable for the first few times.

-The player collision with both each other and the terrain is so fucking badly executed you will be cussing every 2 mins because of them.
-You will see some characters in every fucking match because balance is non existent. EG: Oscar Mike, Thorn.
-Matchmaking takes half an hour because the game is fucking dead and even then the MM just gives up and throw into you with some low levels against a max level premade
-The UI is not as horrible as the meme masters with their infamous pic says. HOWEVER. The visual effect clusterfuck sometimes makes shit impossible to see. It's pretty funny that there is a Blind status in the game but at least that is pitch black so my eyes don't fucking melt.
-The buildable defenses are a joke especially when you would need it the most (the enemy team is in the lead) not once i saw some retarded kamikaze diving like an idiot beyond the thumper (rocket) turrets and still get out alive at lvl 1.

Battleborn is a great game. People just don't have the necessary gaming culture to appreciate good games. It's been like that since 2013, when Sony and Microsoft started selling their useless consoles and they had to rely on impossibly large marketing campaigns to sell their below average systems and the mediocre games that followed. In the meantime, gaming has become so mainstream that even people who have never before touched an RPG or an Action FPS have begun flooding the community. It's so easy to misdirect those people with bright colors and porn parodies in order to generate interest into a game that good games coming from smaller companies are quickly buried under the pressure of gigantic marketing advertisements.

I own the game. I like the game. The game is in a terrible state. The design of just about everything needs to be tweaked. From the menus/user interface to the actual gameplay. The animations are crap, the sound design is flat and useless. The writing is just awful despite a pretty cool idea for a story. I am tired of seeing games come out like this. Gearbox's hubris is a huge part of this, as well as their lack of talent overall.
Give Battleborn to a different studio and you would have a great game. Give Battleborn a different published and you would have a great game. EA would have done better by Battleborn.

I really don't think they're any good either. They found a hit in borderlands because it turns out that Diablo with guns is pretty entertaining with friends. Aside from that one game everything they've put out has been pretty god damn awful.

I also got Battleborn (g2a had it for like 28 bucks so why not) and I had a ton of fun with it.
I'd say it's not perfect by any means and it definitely could use some improvements (crunchier hits, better campaign, more playable maps because like 4 ofthem can't be played on most systems) but it's still an original product and I enjoyed my time with it.
I hate Gearbox with a passion but I can't lie and say this game isn't fun. I wish more people would at least give it a shot before shitting on it relentlessly.
