well, there were the grenades in 2, which were ok, and that sirian glove in BFE, wich was pretty useless.
next encounter introduced vehicles, which were meh
i was hoping that they would make the gravitational play (of the secrets of the first games) a bigger part of the game. maybe making entire levels like that spere in TFE, where you could walk on the walls, but instead use all kinds of shapes.
