I've been doing some sprite sheets, and I made this shorter and thicker variant of the regular female base.
What do you think of it?

Side view, heads are tilted forward and the body zigzags downward to balance. Looks awkward while she's standing straight as an arrow. Apart from that it seems fairly functional. While we're all here what do folks think of the guy I've been working on tonight? I'm not happy and I need fresh eyes to tell me why it sucks.
