Why is this game seen as the worst in its series? PiT had the darkest and engaging Mario story and is a long ass, hard game to boot.

It was really short, the baby mechanic got kind of annoying after a while, and there were little to no sidequests outside of Bean collecting. It felt extremely underwhelming after Superstar Saga.

Personally I love PiT and it's a worthy sequel. Also even if it's darker, it's still colorful and funny like the first M&L game.
