Newsflash. Fallout 4 is a bad game and the worst game in the main series. There are way bigger problems with it than what you just posted. Let's just hope Bethesda doesn't keep going down this path of destruction and fuck up TES VI. Even Doom didn't reach it's full potential. They dropped the ball on the soundtrack and didn't recreate the feeling of the original. It's more similar to Quake or Serious Sam. Even the original Doom cared more about its world than this one. Doom didn't have glowing health and ammo. Doom 2016 isn't an effective translation. It's a misguided hate letter to realism.

I'm not arguing about that, I never said that quest made sense. I'm just saying ghouls are also the ones who tell you what their abilities are after you assume guy is the sole source of lore about ghouls.
And to add onto it, ghouls who are locked in some storage or somewhere underground for 200 years ARE feral, so the fridge doesn't make sense.

In the first fallouts and even New Vegas you have ghouls who eat and shit like normal, albeit totally fucked up, humans. There's one in NV who explicitly points out how he's survived locked in a room for a couple weeks or something by eating radroaches and condensation off of pipes.
