Right now legacy servers are still hypothetical but I guess I can answer the question regardless: if there's enough interest among my acquaintances to run a guild, whatever the guild needs (and in practise that'd most probably be a warrior for vanilla and prot pally for TBC/WotLK). If I'm going without a full guild rolling with me, I'd probably go with a mage as I haven't played caster DPS for a good while and I've had my fair share of playing locks already.

Mike Morhaime confirmed Blizzard still has the source code (like anyone with sense already would have been willing to bet against 1:100 odds despite their previous lies) so legacy servers, if any, would obviously be the correct implementation.
