Diablo 3. Had an awful start, but by the time the expansion came out, things were getting pretty good. Recently tried making a season character for the first time, turned out to be more fun than I had imagined. Though that might be in part due to the free Raekor's set that they gave me which is so incredible.

I was able to sink just under 600 hours into it before I realized how shit it was though. And I bought TPS also.

You can play different routes, and replaying routes in different orders will change things. The routes can take from 4-6 hours, I suppose, and there are generally three main ones, but there's a lot of overlap in terms of what happens within said routes ("routes" here meaning choices that you make, as the geography and characters are the same). I don't want to say more because it's the kind of game where going into it blind is better for you.
It depends on what kind of games you like. If you've seen screenshots of it and you know that it's got bullet hell characteristics and moral choices and you're okay with that, or like that, and you like relatively tame humor and weird situations and genuinely kind of depressing and cruel ones, too, then sure, give it a go. /v/ will tell you that it's Meme/Tumblrtale, since Tumblr really liked it and the game contains gay characters and a protagonist of unknown sex. Whether or not that annoys you is up to you. Personally I don't care.
All I can say is that I liked it. I don't think it's something to go crazy for, but it was a new experience for me and I enjoyed it, and since I don't get into fandoms I didn't have an issue with that side of things.
