I remember someone posting the concept art and saying that they got it from the XIV website. I remember seeing it there too at the very bottom of the page in the banner where all the stages scroll by. I remember it having a wooden floor and red wooden railing. it looked like either the edge of a japanese dojo or a bridge. The torches kinda reminded me of Mr. Karate's AoF stage.I don't know if it's still there though. Also the silhouette in the background by the moon looked kinda like Amakusa, I may be mistaken though.

It's like Xrd. They chose to make the 2D game in 3D, but try to retain the feel of the old games by keeping a similar style of animation. It won't impress the casuals and PC players who only care about graphics (unless they go all out like in Xrd), but it is definitely the better option for people who care about gameplay, which isn't /v/ or anyone on Twitch or your average capcom fan in general

I feel that new characters and new moves and stuff like Climax moves don't have such restrictions so their animations might have been designed to suit 3D look from the get go.

This. Clipping is just the way of the game and it requires so much effort to deal with for almost no benefit. There isn't a fucking photo taking mode like DOA or something and even that shit didn't have basic AA.
And at least it's nowhere near as bad as SFV where characters are clipping like crazy in their fucking versus screen.

Already did. It depends where you are, but for NA and SA it'll have a steel book, 144 page artbook, 3 disk soundtrack that's in a case with Mai artwork on it. There's also the classic Kyo costume DLC which will be free during the first week of release. I heard the Jap one won't have the soundtrack and that's why each store is offering their own bonus.

Both of those are essential in pressure game and mix ups. Throwing a hops then normal jumps can really screw up an opponents rythm since he wont know when to use a normal anti air or a DP and one mistep can open him up from a can of hurt if you can actually capitalize your baits and his mistakes.

If you are a beginner I suggest starting of with doing the motion 2369 or QCF,UF for when you want to super jump or hyper hop, it'll come out 100% of the time, eventually though you'll want to learn how to hyper hop properly though.
