This is in contrast to the expected performance peak of NEO at 4.14 teraflops, which will be 2.25-times more powerful than today’s PS4.

ps4 rents ps3 games $5 an hour. xbox allows you to use your old games and gives them back with games with gold, 4 games every month. PS+ offer varies how many games it gives in general and while they usually offer 6 maybe 2-3 at a time are for the PS4 while the others are for PS3 or the vita and the games given to the PS4 are usually garbage.

well, i honestly think that gaming consoles are only place where competition does more harm to consumer than good.
Let me explain my simple thesis :
There is just so much(little) good games per year, when you spread them as exclusives on 4 platforms, even somewhat good years are pathetic, on the other hand games are competition in itself(every game dev will wish that his game is nicest,biggest and with best gameplay).
I remember what first xbawx hueg brought to the table, they fucked up Oddworld franchise with stupid 3d gimmick(that game was first made for PS2, Alan Wake that was suposed to be Silent Hill meets GTA turned into Resident Evil clone because xbawx was too weak and finally Halo was primarily an PC game that was actually good, they casualized it to oblivion(who knows what would Halo bring to the table if it stayed PC exclusive, maybe it would end with 2 or 3 as it should).
New console would be released when hardware was ripe, good and cheap(5 year cycles are ok if console costs 250$=price of console before M$ entered the ring) , you had PC for graphic whores and
Nintendo did its own thing .
At the end, Nintendo is to blame, they said :"Fuck you" to Sony(then gigant of consumer electronics) and opened a can of worms that took gaming on wrong path from wich we will never recover.
