I have never been more hyped for a game in my fucking life. I did so much cringey shit in anticipation of this and it turned out to be garbage. Here are some of the things I did

Honestly Evolve looks like it would work better as a single player experience. The evac wasn't cutting it and the little scraps and pieces only made me want more that could delve into the universe. Slim comes to mind but Kala left the largest impression and has my vote for the most interesting addition to the game. Her abililities are interesting too.
She literally has everyone talking and I enjoy the different side she brought out of Caira, with her constantly shitting on her to the point that she'll even talk about her with other hunters even when Kala's not there.
Kala may seem like your troubled brooding cliche but I like how she's changed the dynamic of the team, splitting and how she has opened the possibility to delve deeper into the monsters, why they are fucking about and how she might connect to them.

I really liked evolve, and it seemed really polished from my time with it in the beta, but It didn't seem worth it for 60$ to me.
It's a shame it died instead of staying alive and dropping in price.

Look at the post date. The T5 hunters are already out and have been for a while: Lennox, Jack, E.M.E.T., and Kala. They are, however, getting around to releasing variations of existing hunters and monsters with slightly altered abilities.
