Probably one of the GTA games, they're all dogshit but critics and plebs can't get enough of them. Not a single one is worth fucking anything, they were all released with gameplay 5+ years behind everyone else and they age like rotten milk, but somehow they're the pinnacle of gaming for a lot of dipshits. What really pissed me off was everyone complaining about the combat. Say what you want about the story and characters but the combat was a lot of fun if you didn't just sit behind cover while playing on normal the whole time like a lot of idiots apparently did. If you played on hard (which forced you to use a lot of the game's mechanics to survive) and actually made use of the rails to travel around the arenas then you could have a lot of fun.

A lot of well loved older games had some serious flaws, but they were either incredibly innovative and influential or still enjoyable in spite of certain mechanics. I would consider Deus Ex, System Shock 2, VtM: Bloodlines, Strife, Fallout New Vegas and STALKER all great games despite some serious and not so serious flaws which may be a deal breaker to some people.

I felt it was a silly decision to upgrade weapons while you only carry 2 at any time. So you end up running out of ammo and having to use weapons you don't have upgraded.
I'm not sure why they decided to limit 2 weapons

I'd say Bioshock: Infinite is definitely a prime candidate for most over rated game of all time.
It isn't a bad game, but it is undeniably the weakest Bioshock entry.
The visuals were very nice, it was a very pretty game with a neat atmosphere, although not technically impressive.
The gameplay however was very dull. Bullet sponge enemies, boring and generic weaponry, and all of the 'tonics' seemed to do the same fucking thing, whereas the... what were they? clothing? apparels? I don't know, they were boring and lame. Not to mention none of the weapons receive any interesting or visual upgrades, on top of already being boring in the first place.
In terms of story, it suffered from a late-development rewrite just as Mass Effect 3 did, and it really shows. Nothing is quite fleshed out the way it was in Bioshock 1 or 2, none of the characters are developed at all, the environments and tech are barely even glanced at, and nothing feels like it has any weight. Say what you will about the ending, I think it could have worked had they just kept their shit straight in terms of story development and not rewritten Lizzy to be a Time Lord or whatever.
I don't know. For an honest rating I'd give it a 5/10, it was playable and reasonably entertaining, but even with the laughable edition of "1999 Mode" it lacks replayability entirely, and the gameplay fails to innovate where it needs to, or keep the parts of Bioshock 1 or 2 that it ought to.

The game looked nice. The story had some heart. Even though it was up it's own ass and didn't make much sense. Also the shitty attempts to tackle themes like racism and such. I liked Elizabeth. Though people say her personality was too 'Disney Princess-like' but I don't really care.
