Problem is Slav devs can't really compete on modern scene unless they struck gold at some point like CDPR. Not only is the entire industry seen as a ridiculous career choice by everyone, thee are also barely any investors. Of course benefit it is that no one really imposes any restrictions or control over you because they don't know shit about what you're doing, but finding investors is basically mission impossible. Russia and Poland probably have it best because they've managed to produce higher profile games so far, but other Slav countries not so much these days.
