I followed the instructions to the letter, menuhax manager tells me it was succesful, there's an imagedisplay.bin file or some shit on the sd card, but the image never actually dispalys

Well, brutal mario runs just fine and you know how crazy that rom hack goes with bosses and its scripts. The 3DS VC is pretty damn sturdy since it's using nintendo's orginal SNES tech to run it to at least some extent. Terranigma, a game with Mode 7, also runs just fine
