I think it definitely looks like they fell for a lot of Ubisoft open world shit memes but on the whole it still looks above average for a game published by EA. Compared to BF3, 4 or Hardline it is a godsend.

Confirmed never played BF4 past its first 6 months of launch or at all.
BF4 is probably the best and most balanced BF game to date after the 2015 summer balance patch.

BC2 what was dumbed down BF at all, BF2 is dated as hell, and BF3 is nothing but blue filters and eyeblinding sun. BF3 though, for all its faults, has some of the best post-BF2 maps though, hands down.
BF4 maps I must admit cannot touch BF3s, that's literally the only negative and positive for each respectively.
Hardline was dogshit, though, through and through.

Nostalgia says it gon be good. Reality says there is only so much that you can do in 3d waifu Mario ( I mean "Mirrors Edge") . The game is simply, inherently simple.
