Yeah, they do. The pub as a distinct entity is slowly disappearing thanks to supermarkets. It's faster, easier, and cheaper to buy booze yourself and drink it at home where you can smoke and watch TV.
A lot of pubs show sports now, they'll advertise that fact on the outside. "SKY SPORTS AVAILABLE HERE", or whatever. They need to attract more customers, so they're changing. But an actual country pub won't have a TV or music, it's about eating food with friends and family whilst drinking at the same time.
