Yup. In Kirby's case, you twist and the front half comes off, then you can take another face and twist it on. Just for Kirby the hands/feet are magnetized so you can put them anywhere, it's fucking great.
As for the Toon Link nendo (and all other nendo), all limbs are stuck with a little peg, so you can just pull them out and put new ones in. Same for his face: pull out his hair, then the face, and put it back together with a new face.

Does robobot slow down a lot for anybody else on the O3DS? It's not terrible, but the fps drops are definitely noticeable

The issue of slowdown isn't huge if you don't have 3D on. If you do then expect them on some Robobot section, but not a ton. I've read that the performance improves on a N3DS.
Just finished playing through Mass Attack. It was pretty good (though the camera is a bit wonky).
What's with Kirby games and sudden difficulty spikes? There are areas that can instantly kill all your Kirbys if you're not paying attention.
