Zarya is a powerhouse when you use both her shields right and Symmetra is hot beamy death if you make yourself hard to hit.

Because he isn't? He's a solid character that does a lot but doesn't excel at too much. The other offense characters all fulfill different roles, and they're all pretty much good for different reasons.
