We have instead this thing where girls and guys by separate arrange shit, hire a bus (and driver duh), dress up in dumb costumes and pick up the opposite gender from their cribs while strolling around in said bus pretty late at night, usually getting hammered and just fucking around on the way. Once everyone is picked up the driver goes to a preplanned chill location, like a private property with a pool, grills, green areas n shit.
I went to both, got picked up one day, picked up the chicks another day. I'm a prude so the one thing I drank was a flavored vodka shot they forced down my mouthhole when the girls picked us up.
It was actually really fun being completely conscious while many others were hammered and pulling dumb shit. I spent one just chatting the entire dawn with the other people that didn't go overboard with the alcohol then everyone went in the pool when the sun came back out. The other was pretty much the same but no pool.
In hindsight it wasn't the worst experience. Truth be told it's not the type of activity I'd attend to in the first place, but for what it was worth I had a good time doing something different in my boring life for once.
Oh, and as far as I know there wasn't really any literal fucking. Maybe a little making out among a couple people but I personally didn't witness it.

My prom king was someone who died in a car crash during the first semester of my senior year. I didn't go to my prom, but I heard his family went to the prom and gave a speech about him, and his girlfriend was prom queen. During our graduation we also had a moment of silence for him, and his family gave another speech and were handed a fake diploma for him. They did a few other things like that for other school events.
Maybe I'm just an asshole, but I think they really should've just tried to move on instead of constantly having events about him. It's kind of a downer.
