This, or alternatively you knock it down with mounts, stagger and stun with hammer. Stagger with chargeblade/switch axe. There's a plethora of options outside of wind res, just dont use super crazy laggy moves and if you're not confidant with hitting the head just bash the feet til it falls. The first go at pink rath is a struggle but its easy enough if you just read and dodge.

Alternatively you can use a sonic HH or a high reaching weapon HH/CB/SwAxe/S&S/GLance. Or use a range weapon and shoot it out of the sky. My favorite is the pure vertical GLance wide shot. Yes it could use work, but its not exclusively solved by flash bombs

Negate wind comes from shit tier equipment, though I do use negate poison from Nerscylla armor, WHICH weak to FIRE. I didn't bring flashbomb because fuck I never use it. I finally win after getting so damn aggressive while IG buff is up, and run the fuck away to next zone to heal.
It take 30 minutes even with mega demondrug, maybe 25 if it doesn't try to flee from one zone to another, and then come back before finally returning to its nest. Where it get bombed.

The wake up hit on a sleeping monster does twice as much damage, and I think bombs do three times. If you're going to use a sleep weapons its best to be ready for it. Otherwise you'll do more damage with a full raw or hitting its elemental weakness.
